Keith has a long and successful history in the world of finance with a wealth of knowledge and experience he’d like to put to work for you.
Keith earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Economics from the University of South Carolina and later completed his coursework for a Masters of Arts in Economics with a focus in Forecasting/Econometrics. He began his career in the Governor’s Office, Division of Economic Development, administering Community Development Block Grants. Keith then began working for an economic development financial institution, working his way up to Director of Compliance in Loan Administration. In 2006, Keith transitioned to Provident Business Financial Services (Provident) to set up its Loan Administration unit. In 2008, he assumed the duties of President and CEO of Provident, and has grown the business year after year.
David Harper, Vice President – Business Development, Provident Business Financial Services
David brings over 18 years of commercial lending, business banking, and financial services marketing to Provident Business Financial Services where he focuses on new business and SBA 504 loan origination. At Provident, David develops and promotes economic development financing to businesses by making long-term, low down-payment, reasonably priced fixed-rate loans
Prior to Provident, David worked for large national banks, community banks and a credit union where he led a team of commercial lenders to be named #1 SBA 504 Third Party Lenders in SC. David attended the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s of Business Administration from City University of Seattle. David is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. David is a member of the East Cooper Breakfast Rotary, Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS – Commercial Investment Division, Charleston CFO Counsel, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, and Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.
Reeve Conover, Consultant
After running a successful insurance agency for 20 years in the New York City area, Reeve and his wife Mary moved to Summerville SC. With more than 30 years experience in employee benefits, he has helped more than 1000 companies save money, improve their benefits and comply with the myriad of regulations. He is an active volunteer mentor for SCORE, and currently education director, helping business owners start and grow businesses, and volunteered for 37 years as a Paramedic and Paramedic Instructor. He has two girls, Alicia and Kristin, and a granddaughter Faith, all living in the low country.
